WIP Hard-Surface 3D Mechanism Modeled & Animated in Blender

The artist used TexTools and UVPackmaster to unwrap the UVs.

Have a look at this engrossing 3D animation of what appears to be a battle robot initiating its firing sequence, showcased over the weekend by lobolabo, a 3D Artist/Animator specializing in hard-surface modeling.

Given that the project is currently a work in progress, not much is known about the model itself or the workflows behind it, however, it can be confirmed that lobolabo is bringing this latest creation to life in Blender, a popular open-source 3D software. The artist has also revealed that the UV unwrapping process was accomplished with the help of the TexTools and UVPackmaster add-ons.

While the artist is hard at work creating a new amazing digital machine, we highly recommend checking out lobolabo's previous works by clicking this link.
