WiP Japanese-Style City Being Made With Houdini, Blender & UE5
The scene was set up using custom-made assets without any scans.
3D Artist, known only as siba19909331, whom you might remember for showcasing an "almost procedural" Geometry Nodes-powered Japanese town generator back in late 2022 – early 2023, continues reimagining modern Asian settlements in a digital format with an impressive new project.
This time, the creator leveraged the power of Blender, Houdini, and Unreal Engine 5 to set up a highly-detailed Japanese-like city, currently WiP, complete with dozens of stunning 20th-century buildings, roads with height differences, and, of course, miles upon miles of electric cables. According to the artist, the environment is being made without any scans using exclusively hand-made custom assets.
