BiteTheBytes just announced the new features and improvements for World Creator 2026.3. Now you can import geospatial terrain formats like GeoTIFF, HGT, DTED, and others, letting you use real-world elevation data as your foundation for terrains.
Another improvement that was added, which would be really helpful, is that now you can import and reuse presets from previous versions. "With this feature, you can continue working with your familiar presets without having to recreate them from scratch, ensuring a smooth transition between versions."

The other updates are that now the terrain will adapt to objects, creating a more balanced and realistic scene. You will also be able to generate masks that will be directly influenced by the placement of objects, allowing you to have more control over the scene. And lastly, now there is a camera distribution setting, which lets you work and add more detail to assets that are inside the camera position.

And according to the release notes, some of the things they fixed are "an issue where pressing F3 did not completely hide all UI elements, an issue where Shape Color was not working correctly in new projects after loading certain existing projects, an issue where Shape Design Mode turned completely white when Bloom was enabled in a camera," among others.
