Bruce Lee is back again in the real-time demo created by Marlon R. Nunez using ZBrush and Unreal Engine 5.6. It's a continuation of his Live Link experiments, and an impressive one.
The simulation has no retargeting, manual cleanup, or "pipeline gymnastics" – only clean in-engine performance.
"Why Bruce Lee? Because if you can make him feel alive again, with all his intensity, calm, and focus… you know the tools are working. This demo isn’t just about fidelity — it’s about possibility. Real-time characters that can perform, speak, and connect," Nunez said.
He also praised UE 5.6 for it "changing the way we think about digital humans," as keyframing and facial rigging now take minutes instead of weeks.
Nunez will release the full Bruce Lee demo soon, "showcasing everything from sculpting and MetaHuman customization to animation and final rendering."
