Daria Karpova announced on her Instagram account that you can now download for free the Substance 3D Painter file for her Man on the Subway project, for which we shared a breakdown a few months ago.

In the article we shared, you can learn her workflow to create the character, how she sculpted, baked, and achieved the stylized appearance.

Now, with the Substance 3D Painter file, you can learn how she created the materials. And even though it's not a Smart Material that you can apply to other models, you can learn how to get the same effect.

Karpova explained that what's included is Substance 3D files with layers, and it's made for Substance Painter version 12.0.2 and up. Check out the artist's Gumroad page to download the file.
