3D Manga Panels Made For a VR Ping-Pong Mini-Game

The panels were created by Big Brane Studios' Dmaw using Unreal Engine.

Over the past few weeks, Game Developer and the creator of Big Brane Studios' Sushi Ben VR known as Dmaw shared several work-in-progress demos showcasing an impressive VR ping-pong mini-game. Powered by Unreal Engine, the demos provided a look at the project's gameplay mechanics and showcased its fantastic 3D manga-like panels, which appear in the background in order to highlight the tension of the situation and the opponent's emotions. According to the developer, this neat ping-pong VR simulator is only a mini-game and is planned to be a part of a much bigger project.
