3DSMax - RizomUV Bridge
2 June, 2019

Have a look at a bridge for UV editing within two programs: 3DSMax and RizomUV. You can get a free version or a paid one with more features.

How it works

In 3DS Max:

  • Select object or multiple objects
  • Select editing mode
  • Press button with the RizomUV logo

In RizomUV:

  • Create or edit UVs
  • Press Save

After saving in RizomUV, 3DSMax window will reappear and UVs will be assigned like modifiers on object or objects.

How to edit a preset file:

  • In RizomUV open Script and Command log window (default shortcut is “L”)
  • Select necessary lines and copy/paste them into the preset file

The script works in 3DS Max 2016/2017/2018 (may work with 3DS Max 2019). You can find the script here and there (extended version).
