Sofiia Zaitseva, 3D Animation Artist at Plarium, showcased her work on the Cheshire Cat character model, created for dark fantasy RPG RAID: Shadow Legends.
The artist aimed for a playful and slightly creepy look, which resulted in a complex, multi-layered character design with agile animation that reflects its personality. The creator shared that the character started from mocap but was then adjusted for a better look, with work done on the poses, timing, tail movement, and small details to make him feel more like a dark fantasy creature.
