Have a look at this impressive recreation of Nintendo's Bowser, inspired by the character's depiction in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, created by Ümral Ismayilov, a 3D Character Artist and Motion Designer who specializes in reimagining cartoon characters in 3D.
According to the artist, the character was modeled in ZBrush, retopologized in Maya, and textured with Substance 3D Painter. Additionally, the author utilized Blender to rig, groom, and render the model. In the future, the author also considers posting more renders and sharing a timelapse progress video to demonstrate the production pipeline behind the character.
