A Fantastic Explosion FX Set Up in Blender

Hiroshi Kanazawa impresses us once again with yet another spectacular Blender-made explosion.

3DCG Creator Hiroshi Kanazawa, who recently shared a short breakdown of an exploding train effect, unveiled yet another breathtaking project. This time, the artist has set up a mesmerizing explosion FX with a person standing amid the flames and emitting myriads of black and orange particles. According to the author, the goal was to experiment with bones and particles in Blender.

On top of that, the artist also revealed a short breakdown of the project, showing how he was working with bones, demonstrating how the explosions and flames were created, explaining how the particles were set up using Normal materials, and more. Hiroshi is also considering releasing some in-depth tutorials in the near future to further explain his workflow.
