A Huge Herd of Deer Simulated in Unreal Engine

Charles Cox has shared a new WiP demo for his upcoming game.

Indie Game Developer Charles Cox, whose incredible dragon model created with 3ds Max and Unreal Engine for an upcoming game has been featured earlier on 80 Level, continues working on the project and sharing stunning work-in-progress demos along the way.

This time, the developer impressed us by showcasing a simulation of a gigantic herd of deer created with Unreal. According to Charles, the first goal of the demonstrated flocking mechanic was to "render a ton of meshes all at once and get them animated", with deer variation planned to be added further down the line.
