A Realistic Take on Dragon Ball's Capsule Corporation Spaceship

The artist utilized 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and Unreal Engine to set up the scene.

Alexander Kolesnikov, an Art Manager and talented 3D Artist specializing in digital props, has recently shared a new nostalgia-inducing spaceship model that old-school anime fans will instantly recognize.

With his latest artwork, Alexander offered a more realistic 3D take on Dragon Ball's Capsule Corporation Spaceship (the first one from the looks of it), a spherical spacecraft built by Capsule Corp., one of the largest, wealthiest, and most influential companies in the DBZ universe. According to the creator, he crafted this scene while serving as a Master's instructor at Voxel School's Advanced Master of Weapons and Vehicles program using a combination of tools, including 3ds Max, ZBrush, RizomUV, Substance 3D Painter, and Unreal Engine.
