LogInSeems like AI will one day create games on its own.
Programmer Nao_u has demonstrated a shoot 'em up game with assets generated by the AI-based text-to-image tool Midjourney.
The project is called Shoon and allows you to control a spaceship and destroy enemy ships and huge insect-like monsters.
The ability to make games using AI-made assets is amazing, it opens a lot of possibilities, although there are some regarding such tools cautiously, concerned human artists will one day be replaced with computers. However, Midjourney's founder thinks it's "an engine for the imagination" that shouldn't be afraid of.
