Add Hand-Crafted Feel To Your 3D Prints In Blender
Rahul Parihar aka DoubleGum shipped Surface Lab.
Rahul Parihar, known for Woolly and Clay Doh for Blender, has released Surface Lab, a system that brings tactile surface detail to 3D-printed models. It's built to transform smooth meshes into pieces that feel more hand-crafted.
Surface Lab includes a curated library of over 30 ready-made textures, and you can also import your own from online sources. It provides all the tools needed to apply, tweak, and refine surface detail without dealing with node setups. It works with any model and doesn't require UV unwrapping.
The toolkit is very flexible. You can also stack and blend multiple textures to create layered results.

Some people are comparing Surface Lab to vibe-coded, web-based Bump Mesh by CNC Kitchen, but as Rahul explained, these are different tools for different workflows and results: "If you just need to stamp a texture and export, Bump Mesh is great. Surface Lab is built for a different workflow: non-destructive surface design in Blender."
