AI Shader: A ChatGPT-Powered Shader Generator for Unity

The tool was developed by Keijiro Takahashi and is available via the creator's GitHub.

Unity Developer Keijiro Takahashi, who earlier developed RDSystem and Skinner, expands the collection of neat downloadable tools for Unity with yet another incredible setup. This time, the creator revealed AI Shader, a proof-of-concept implementation of a ChatGPT-powered shader generator for Unity, which enables its user to generate customizable shaders in the engine by using text prompts.

To get started, you will need to generate an API key to use the ChatGPT API and then set it on the Project Settings page in Unity. According to the developer, the generator supports prompts in English and Japanese and is available for download via GitHub.
