The early version of the system is already available.
Andry Dédouze, a legendary 3D Artist and Animator with a one-of-a-kind art style, has showcased an early preview of his brand-new Blender add-on for animating 3D objects, inspired by traditional 2D animation.
Dubbed Simple Animation Graph, the plug-in lets you draw a trajectory on a screen from different angles, place some points on the graph to control the speed, and press a button to animate the selected 3D object or an armature, including those set up using Rigify, Auto-Rig Pro, and other tools. What's more, the system lets you animate rotations and combine them with existing position keyframes. At the moment, Simple Animation Graph is still in beta, but you can already try it out for as little as €1 by clicking this link.
Previously, Dédouze also shared Grease Pencil Focus, a Blender extension that enables you to save the last color and tool you used on a certain layer and reactivate them in an instant by opening this layer later.
We highly encourage you to visit Dédouze's Twitter page to check out the artist's awe-inspiring portfolio of gorgeous artworks.
