The characters were created to test out different workflows and approaches.
Despite Arcane's hype train getting slower and slower each day, the show still manages to inspire hundreds of artists all over the world to create something beautiful and get better at their trade in general. Envar Studio, a Swedish visual development and design studio, recently presented one such case when artists used familiar characters to get better and test out new approaches and workflows.
Envar's Character Artists Julian Hoarau and Meesh Chen demonstrated two great 3D models of the TV series' most popular characters Jinx and Vi, as well as their corresponding weapons. The models were made using Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter/Designer, and Marmoset Toolbag.
