Tingwei Liu poured their respect for the man into their work.

Have a look at this incredible recreation of Arsène Wenger, the former manager of the Arsenal football club. The 3D model was made by character artist Tingwei Liu, who wanted to express their respect with the project.

"This is a 3D portrait of Arsène Wenger, one of the most respected figures in my life. His embodiment of Arsenal's values and demeanor has profoundly influenced and shaped me," shared the artist.

The face was modeled with ZBrush, the hair was done with XGen, and the outfit was crafted in Marvelous Designer. TexturingXYZ helped with texturing and skin details, which were then taken to ZBrush and Substance 3D Painter, and the final render was made in Unreal Engine 5.

"And I want to give a big shoutout to Lukas Kutschera. He's not just one of my best artist friends but also one of the most incredible mentors anyone could ask for. His dedication, passion, patience, and teaching skills are all outstanding. We've had countless discussions about art, soccer, and life in general. I'm truly grateful to have met him and learned from him."
