Shahzod Boyhonov will show you how well the new version works.
Blender 5.0 has recently been released in beta, and talented artists like Shahzod Boyhonov, also known as Specoolar, are already impressing audiences with its power.
One of the cool experiments Boyhonov demonstrated is the Tesseract from Interstellar, a hyper-cubic, grid-like structure that he made with ray marching using a Repeat node. It can get a little trippy, but the fact that you can make it in the 3D software is amazing in itself.
Boyhonov also showed 40 thousand volumetric stylized trees, also created using ray marching, Blender 5.0 with the same node, and all of them look positively stunning.

The creator has also recently released AutoBlend, an add-on that allows you to blend any number of objects and materials.
Also, check out his screen-space mesh blending, traffic animation, a fluid-like grass animation, a fall leaves simulation, and more.
