Ask Bethesda (Almost) Anything in Q&A Discord Channel to Celebrate Its 40th Anniversary

In the ask-a-dev Discord channel, you can post your questions for the Bethesda developers.

Bethesda

This year, Bethesda turns 40. To celebrate the grand anniversary, the company launched a Q&A channel on Discord, where players can post their questions for the developers. Users can ask questions about their beloved Bethesda titles like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series.

While any player is curious to know what the developers are currently working on, such as the ongoing Fallout projects, Bethesda warns that only questions about the existing titles will be accepted. "To set expectations, we won't be answering any questions about future or in-production games for this," they state.

The Q&A will go on for a week, until October 21, 2026. Users can post their own inquiries and upvote other players' questions to increase their chance of being noticed by the Bethesda team. Developers will then pick their favorite ones and answer them in a social series on Bethesda's official channels throughout November.

The questions are coming in fast, and while some of them sound like perfectly written prompts for a Q&A session, others are a heartfelt cry of despair. "Why can't you fix Fallout 4 and make it bug-free on PlayStation and other consoles?" a user asked.

Although it's not as popular as Fallout and The Elder Scrolls, there were several inquiries about Starfield, which, as developers previously noted, is unlikely to get a sequel. There have also been quite a few questions about mods, new in-game features, and upgrades and remasters for all three Bethesda titles.

If you think you have just the right message for the developers, you can join the Discord server and post it in the ask-a-dev channel.
