Awesome Stylized Drummer Cat Rig In Blender
JuanCarlos CR keeps impressing every time.
For this project, JuanCarlos CR was inspired by a cartoon drummer cat designed by teretoast. He recreated the character in full 3D using Blender, then built a neat rig and brought it to life with animation.
The artist admitted that the style is a bit different from what he's used to. Weight-painting this cat must have tested JuanCarlos CR's sanity, but the final result makes it worth it. Below is the original concept and the full modeling process:
