Behind-The-Scenes Look at Animations in The Amazing Digital Circus Episode 3

Kevin Temmer has offered a closer look at some of the sequences from TADC's latest episode.

Kevin Temmer, the Lead Animator on Glitch Productions' sensational web show The Amazing Digital Circus, has commemorated the reveal of the highly anticipated third episode of the series by offering an insightful under-the-hood look at some of the animation sequences he made for TADC's spooky episode.

In the first demo, shared by Kevin on YouTube, the artist showcased the shots he personally animated for the episode, comparing the final renders to how the scenes looked during production. The second video, available via Kevin's LinkedIn page, offers a more in-depth breakdown of some of the sequences featured in the first demo, showing how the animator approached the emotional dialogues between Pomni and Kinger and handled the memorable "possession scene" that turned our beloved neurotic into a stuff of nightmares with the help of Autodesk Maya.

It goes without saying but Kevin's demos come with a healthy dose of spoilers, so watching the full episode before delving into the behind-the-scenes demos is highly recommended:

Nearly a year ago, the Glitch Productions team also joined 80 Level to tell us about their approach to character animations in The Amazing Digital Circus' Pilot episode, discuss rigging and animating Pomni, Jax, and Gangle, and explain how Maya and Unreal Engine were used in the workflow.
