Blair Witch Gameplay Revealed at E3

The game action takes place in the 1996 year. The main character is a policeman who investigates a mysterious vanishing of a boy named Peter Shannon. The little boy has disappeared into the Black Hills Forest where the government organized a search. Chasing his dog he runs into a dense thicket where suddenly loses consciousness. Waking up the policeman sees horrifying silhouettes, monsters and disfigured people with horns and branches growing out of them.

This action first-person survival horror game is developed by Bloober Team, the developers behind the chillingly brilliant Layers of Fear.

The thing that trailer hinted to is the presence of repetition in the game like a loop that’s making you learn more and search for the lost boy multiple times. After the main character falls victim by the unknown enemy, we see the camcorder play footage of him entering the forest once again searching for the boy.

The game’s release is scheduled for August 30. It will be available on Xbox One and PC.
