The developers urged the audience to vote for their favorite medieval ranged weapons that they would like to see in the game.
Five months since the release of the first gameplay trailer for Blight: Survival, an upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered medieval, co-operative, action horror game set in an alternate 14th century, and the subsequent period of relative silence, the game's developer Haenir Studio has shared a new Twitter post, giving a much needed update on the state of Blight.
With the post, the studio announced an official poll, urging the audience to vote for their favorite medieval-era ranged weapons that they would like to see in the game, hinting at the possibility that the longbows shown in the aforementioned trailer will not be the only way to get your enemies from afar. The poll is being conducted via the developer's Discord, which you can access here.
Additionally, Haenir's Co-Founder Mads Christensen commented on the studio's five-month-long silence, saying that the studio "had to take a step back in order to take two forward" and onboard ten new developers in order to share more info about the game in the coming months.
Earlier, Mads also joined 80 Level to tell us more about the development process and idea behind Blight: Survival, explain why Unreal Engine 5 was chosen for the game, and discuss the upcoming game's gameplay and co-op mechanics. You can check out our interview with the developer here.
