Check Out These Smooth Door Opening & Kicking Animations Creted for Survival Horror Game

Hear Tell of Hauntings is getting more detailed.

We met Hear Tell of Hauntings last year, when its developer Sean Gause showcased a cool gun spilling thousands of shells mechanic, and the survival horror game has grown significantly since then, receiving new gameplay features and animations, like functioning doors.

As you can see in the first video, you can not only open them and enjoy their smooth movement but also kick down locked ones in a nice animation.

"The more impressive part is the context-dependent interaction prompts but that's less cool to show off," Gause shared.

So what's Hear Tell of Hauntings? It's a Western-themed survival horror game where you play as a gunslinger called Adelaide.

"The year is 1897, the twilight of the American frontier. After receiving a wedding invitation from two long-deceased lovers, Adelaide Clancy braves the halls of Wraith Manor in search of a missing sheriff.

"Step into the boots of a gunslinger and learn what makes this hot-headed deputy tick as she investigates a long-abandoned estate in this survival horror adventure inspired by the classics of the genre."

The game is full of puzzles and secrets, and interacting with the halls of the manor will lead you to new ones, help you get out, or get you stuck further.

Adelaide has a range of weapons to choose from – rifles, shotguns, and revolvers – to fight the house's residents. Just be careful with how much ammo you use.
