Check Out this Design that was Created as a Diablo IV x DOOM Crossover

Opus Artz and id Software created armor designs with a Diablo IV x DOOM style. Björn Hurri, Art Director at Opus Artz, shared some of the results on ArtStation.

Diablo IV is the fourth installment in the Diablo franchise, and it came out in 2023. DOOM is an FPS franchise that first came out in 1999, but the latest release, DOOM: Eternal, was released in 2024. And even though Diablo IV is an action role-playing game, both games share a similar aesthetic, with dark and fantasy elements, making this crossover make a lot of sense.

Here is a dissected look at the design, and some WIPs that show the different materials and colors:

Björn Hurri is a Concept Artist and Art Director who has an impressive art portfolio. He has worked on more than 150 titles, some of which are Dungeons & Dragons, Love, Death and Robot Season 3, Battlefield, God of War Ragnarök, League of Legends, Sea of Thieves, and Fortnite.

He also shared some of the other designs he did for the Diablo IV x DOOM crossover.

Roland Richartz and Matija Obrovac, Senior Concept Artists, also shared their designs for the crossover.

All the designs were created using Photoshop.
