Check Out This Photorealistic Walking Gorilla

Massimo Righi presented another fantastic sculpt.

Massimo Righi, a talented 3D creature artist known for his lifelike animal models, has showcased a new wonder: a photorealistic gorilla. You can check out its graceful movement in the walking loop he presented on ArtStation.

The model was created with ZBrush, Maya, XGen, and Arnold, then rigged by Cristopher Cabra and Enzo Castillo, and animated by Camilo Egido with the scripting done by Esteban Rodriguez.

If you love this work, wait until you see other members of the animal kingdom, including a lion, a tiger, a crocodile, and a cat. Even more mindblowing projects can be found in his ArtStation portfolio.

You can purchase the detailed gorilla rig here if you need a high-quality render with 8K textures, IK and FK in the limbs, muscle contraction controls, an eyebrow ribbon system, and other features.
