Cloud Experiments with Flowmaps-3D in UE 4.26

Check out cool clouds and lightning made by Ryan Brucks.

Principal technical artist from Epic Games Ryan Brucks has shared his experiments with clouds real-time creation and showcased new features for UE 4.26.

He used the Flowmaps 3D function in UE 4.26, worked with Curve Assets, and painted density and flow maps. The clouds were rendered with a new VolumetricCloud component by Seb Hillaire made for UE 4.26. For clouds painting, Ryan applied a 2D map with RGBA colors that helped define the form of the cloud.
