Check out this impressive demo from Unity Developer Omar Itani, working on a game mechanic featuring animated wings with fully controllable feathers. These wings should be able to seamlessly transform, even mid-combo, into weapons, shields, or mobility tools, with full control over speed, delay, color, and shape.
"What makes this especially fun is the mix of challenges involved: from building a scalable system to enable these dynamic switches, to handling optimization and tool development", shared Omar. The slow motion is just for showcase purposes, and Omar has promised to share more updates on the project soon.
