Cute Cartoonish Cat Tripping Animation Made in Blender

Animator まえた created an adorable animation featuring a running (and then tripping) cat that might teleport you back to the good old days of Tom and Jerry.

The cat is 3D, but the artist used 2D and 3D smear frames for the movement in Blender. As a result, the movement looks like it was made for a cartoon about an unfortunate cat. Well, at least it keeps smiling through that tumble.
