Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Releases New Teaser

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was a huge success for CD Projekt (now RED), Netflix, animation studio Trigger, and everybody else who contributed to its creation. No doubt, Season 2 will bring as much excitement (and tears) when it's released this fall.

For now, you can get a glimpse of the high-stakes action in its new teaser, inviting you back to the dystopian Cyberpunk universe created by Mike Pondsmith for his tabletop game.

This season introduces new characters and new chaos: meet Weak Kingsley, a veteran Edgerunner who "lives in the shadow of his former glory," Roman Carax, a cinephile who loves capturing others' lives, Talia Yang, a woman who was raised in a corpo setting but craves the crime life, and D, a Snake Nation netrunner looking for revenge.

It's "a raw, realistic take on the most dangerous city of the dark future," directed by Kai Ikarashi, and this brutal energy is clear in the teaser. I'm sure we'll see another dramatic masterpiece.
