DMC Dev Hates Zelda: The Wind Waker So Much He Hits X's Post Limit

Hideki Kamiya, the legendary Game Developer behind titles like Okami, Bayonetta, Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry, is also famous for being very outspoken on X/Twitter. This time, he took to the platform to explain exactly why he dislikes The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, the GameCube classic where players take control of Link and sail across a vast open ocean.

This isn't even the first time Kamiya has gone on a rant about the game, but this time he took it a step further. After replying to so many people, he actually hit X's posting limit and had to subscribe to Premium just to keep going.

That's the claim that started it all. The Wind Waker is a beloved Zelda game for many people, so naturally, plenty of fans jumped in to defend it. Kamiya, of course, had some very strong replies of his own.

It would be interesting to hear what he thinks of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2, which has already drawn criticism for its uncanny visual style.

Hideki Kamiya isn't always busy raging about games, though: earlier, he jokingly pitched a cozy life sim called Resident Not-Evil, where Leon could finally settle down and enjoy a quiet life in the countryside.

He also explained how some camera and lighting tricks helped fix the corner visibility problems in the original Resident Evil on PlayStation 1:
