Bandai Namco has shared updated information about Elden Ring's sales. Since its release 2 years ago, FromSoftware's epic RPG has sold 23 million copies worldwide. Last February, the number was a little lower, meaning 3 million units have been bought in a year.

Elden Ring is a critically acclaimed title that has won multiple awards, including those at The Game Awards, Golden Joystick, and DICE.

The sales numbers were announced in the press release for Shadow of the Erdtree, the DLC for the main game featuring Miquella, Malenia's brother. It is FromSoftware's "largest expansion" to date, introducing a new area with different dungeons. You can read more about it in this article.

Fans will be disappointed to find out that the developers have no plans for a sequel or another DLC at the moment, so chances are this will be the end of the story. Shadow of the Erdtree is going to be launched on June 21.
