Elden Ring Sold 20.5 Million Units by the End of March

Publisher Bandai Namco has published the company's financial results for the first quarter of 2023, revealing that FromSoftware's most-recent soulslike Elden Ring sold 20.5 units worldwide as of March 31, 2023, with the figure including both digital and physical copies.
The most recent sales update took place in late February, with the publisher announcing that the action RPG surpassed 20 million copies, meaning the game sold 500,000 additional copies in a little over a month. Prior to that, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware revealed the sales numbers of 17.5 million copies sold by November 14, 2022, 16.6 million copies as of June 30,13.4 million copies by the end of March 2022, and 12 million units in the first 17 days since its release.
