Forest Stook's talent shines through his work.
Forest Stook, a 15-year-old 3D artist, is back with a hyperrealistic animation that might catch you off guard. Elevator Inspection (Gone Wrong) looks like camera footage but ends with a supernatural twist.
The work was done in Blender, with rendering in Cycles. Stook mentions that Cycles provides a fantastic level of realism just by lighting the scene "the way it would be lit in real life."
"I initially did a 3D hand but people were saying it looked lousy so I took a rotobrushed video of my hand and sneakily animated it to look right. It most definitely was not perfect but it worked!" he shared on Reddit.
We've seen him playing with realism in this beautiful winter scene, which you can also find on Reddit and ArtStation.
