Fan-Made Shrek Game Prototype Set Up in Unreal Engine

The game can already be played via the creator's itch.io.

Game Developer and YouTuber Fat Dino has released Unknown Ogre Simulator, a fan-made combat-oriented game prototype based on DreamWorks' Shrek movies. Putting you in the shoes of Shrek himself, the game tasks you to defend the swamp from invasive fairytale creatures, namely Gingy, Puss in Boots, and Pinocchio, allowing you to choose your own unique playstyle and approach to combat. According to the developer, Unknown Ogre Simulator was set up using Megascans and Unreal Engine 4.

Furthermore, Fat Dino has also shared a comprehensive video overview of the game, explaining how the characters and the swamp were created, showing how the combat system and the UI were set up, detailing the working process behind UOS' gameplay abilities, and more. You can watch the full video breakdown attached below or by visiting the developer's YouTube channel.
