Fan Shared New Half-Life 2: Episode Three Concept Art

The pictures share a look at the BreenGrub and some areas that were meant to be but never made it.

Over the years, we've seen some glimpses of Half-Life 2: Episode Three – what was meant to be the fifth installment in the franchise. David McGreavy, Valve enthusiast and collector as well as a senior producer at 2K, has shared new concept art from the game, depicting some curious environments and an alien form that is probably the "BreenGrub", Dr. Breen transplanted into a new host.

The idea of BreenGrub was created by Half-Life writer Marc Laidlaw, who posted a plot outline for what could have been Episode Three.

Other pictures posted by McGreavy show deserted planes, a human with a robot, a shipwreck, and some interiors.

There are also concepts of Valve's unreleased space game Stars of Blood, which we've seen images of before.

McGreavy told Kotaku that the art comes from a former Valve employee "who was looking to “downsize” their collection of swag and other Valve-related artifacts." And he has more in his collection, so check out his Twitter if you want to find out the secrets of Valve games.
