Fight Your Inner Demons with Fire Magic in This Unity-Powered Indie RPG

Game Developer Sørb, also known as Soerb Games, showcased this game demo with stunning fire and smoke VFX from an action roguelike RPG Ignitement.

In the game's story, you take up the role of a fire shaman and enter a meditative battle with your inner demons, fighting them with fire. Using explosive fire powers, you make your way through hordes of nightmare enemies, gather coins, and unlock upgrades and the devastating fire magic.

The enemies are not just monsters; they are your own inner regret, rage, and pride. One of the interesting gameplay features is that you can choose an ancient mask to hide your identity, alter your powers, and reflect different aspects of your inner self, modifying your experience and speech.

Ignitement features only a solo mode, so the journey becomes a true path to the depths of your mind, with only your voice guiding you further.

The game is powered by Unity, and for the amazing fire effects that appear in the RPG a lot, the creator wrote a custom fluid engine.
