Carlos Dordelly launched dy Install Libs, a Houdini shelf toolset that makes installing HDAs and libraries quick, no manual edits or broken setups to worry about.

With it, you can import a downloaded library directly from a JSON file, which automatically copies and updates the package in your library folder, or create a brand-new JSON package from scratch linked to your library. It also lets you clone and install libraries straight from a GitHub link, build a full library structure with templates, and automatically create the necessary package file. On top of that, you can restart Houdini with a single click to reload everything, and even copy your preferences from one Houdini version to another without any extra effort.

The developer just added a new layer to it called Library Manager, which lets artists discover, install, and manage open-source and commercial Houdini libraries from a single interface.
