Game Maker's Sketchbook has revealed its 2026 selections, celebrating outstanding artwork from across the games industry, featuring art from PRAGMATA, Borderlands 4, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Monument Valley 3, and more.

Now in its fifth year, the annual showcase is powered by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, iam8bit, and fortyseven communications. This year's selections span six categories, including Character Art, Curiosities, Environment Art, Iconography, Impact, and Storyboard, featuring contributions from studios including Capcom, Double Fine Productions, Gearbox Software, Warhorse Studios, ustwo games, and DotEmu, among others.

You can take a look at the selected artwork in the Game Maker's Sketchbook online gallery and during Summer Game Fest: Play Days from June 6 to June 8, 2026, in Los Angeles, CA. High-quality prints of the selections are available for pre-order through the iam8bit store until June 25, with proceeds going to the AIAS Foundation and Day of the Devs – nonprofit initiatives supporting scholarships, mentorships, and educational programs for emerging creators in the industry.
