Game That Blends 2D and 3D Platforming Finally Has a Release Date
Are you excited about this game?
Screenbound is a game that we have been following for a while, and it finally has a release date in September.
Screenbound is a game that is being developed by Crescent Moon Games. The first time we knew something about this title was in 2024, when the studio showed off a fun demo made with Unity.
We also shared some updates on the game that year, showing part of the development process and how the comments of players were considered to create the game.
Screenbound is a puzzle platformer game that blends 2D and 3D visuals using a Qboy, a weird device that you found in your mom's garage that blends reality. You'll be able to control the 2D and 3D worlds, solving puzzles and fighting enemies.
Last month, we had the chance to talk with Josh Presseisen, Founder of Crescent Moon Games, about the game, and he explained how they solved the challenges of creating a 2D world and how they connected it with the 3D one.
He also discussed how they were inspired by retro games, like those of the NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis, and how they managed to create the game's mechanics.
Now Screenbound is scheduled to be released on September 10 of this year. You can download the demo or add it to your wishlist on Steam.
