Get New Assets from Bandai Namco's TrueHDRI Library

Bandai Namco Studios has updated its free TrueHDRI library, providing artists with 3 more real-world lighting environments.

TrueHDRI stores data on absolute luminance and colors to ensure full dynamic range across various light sources. The new HDRIs depict the Hachioji Campus of the Tokyo University of Technology at different times of the day.

For those who want to import the HDRIs into Blender, Bandai Namco has published a manual on how to do so. You can find it here, along with a lecture on "How to Create Reliable HDRI" from CEDEC 2020.
