Get This Blender Geometry Nodes Tool for Turning Meshes into Sponges

Alex Martinelli shared a new free tool.

Take a look at this Procedural Sponge Modifier set up with Blender Geometry Nodes by 3D Artist Alex Martinelli.

The tool allows you to procedurally turn any mesh into a sponge, with control over the texture, pore size, and overall level of detail. The tool might come in useful for visualizing imaginary and realistic 3D models.

Have a closer look:

Check out other Alex Martinelli's experiments with Geometry Nodes, like this recreation of a game ad, a free procedural setup for generating feathers, which the artist created for Nodevember, a fern generator, a crowd sim, and a flock simulation setup:

The Procedural Sponge Modifier is available for free on Gumroad.
