Gnomon has released a tutorial, where Lookdev and Lighting Lead at Digital Domain Adrien Vallecilla explains how to create an exterior scene. The demonstrated workflow covers:
- creating decals, stencils, and RGB masks in Mari for texturing
- lighting and look dev in Maya
- material layering and rendering in Arnold
During the tutorial, you will also focus on vegetation creation and its insights, and Adrien will share his compositing workflow in Nuke to make the scene look realistic. The whole course includes 13 chapters with video materials for 6 hours.
