Lead Animator Gary Whitton brought this pigeon character to life experimenting with the new Locomotor node in Unreal Engine 5's Control Rig, used to generate procedural animations. The goofy bird quickly won people over, sparking interest in a game, so Gary delivered, showcasing a controllable pigeon in action:
