GTA 6 Pre-Order Copies Are Reportedly Selling Above Retail Price on eBay
However, Rockstar's official stock is not in short supply.
GTA 6 pre-orders officially started several days ago, with prices of $79.99 for the standard edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate edition. However, some players are overpaying for pre-orders from eBay scalpers.
There were several reports that players have been purchasing GTA 6 pre-order copies from eBay sellers at prices above retail. The price for resold codes varied from $90 to $120 on eBay, and overall ranged from above $85 to nearly $140, as reported by Dexerto:

Though pre-order sales are predicted to break records, Rockstar currently has no shortage of official copies.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders open since June 25. The pre-order copy includes a digital code that will be active on the release date. There are rumors that the physical disc might be available later, but there is no confirmation of this. Alongside the code, standard and ultimate editions include the Vintage Vice City Pack.
