GTA 6 Won't Stream to PC via Xbox Cloud Gaming

No news of the PC version yet.

Xbox has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 won't stream to PC, though it is reportedly still coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming at launch.

As reported by The Verge, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma told employees during an all-hands meeting that might be involved in something related to Grand Theft Auto 6 that "no other platform holder is doing."

Xbox Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Ball has shed some light on the company's plans, confirming that Xbox will stream the game at launch and dispelling rumors that the gaming company might stream Rockstar's title exclusively or on PC. It implies that Xbox Cloud Gaming's usual browser and app access won't support streaming Grand Theft Auto VI.

In September, Xbox introduced new rules for cloud streaming starting in November: Game Pass plans will include a set number of cloud gaming hours each month, and different Game Pass subscription tiers will have different limits. Ultimate subscribers will receive 15 hours, Premium users will get 10 hours, and Essential subscribers will be limited to 5 hours.
