With just over a month to go until the release of the most anticipated game of the year, you might think there's nothing left that could possibly leak about Grand Theft Auto 6. The latest juicy bit of information is probably Twitch's CEO revealing a release window for GTA 6's multiplayer, and now, dataminers have found references to a potential GTA 6 and Discord collaboration, launching just days before the game's release.

Based on the leaked content shared by Wumpus Central, Discord will let users give their profiles a GTA 6-themed makeover, with options including a themed app icon, platform-wide theme, and a custom font for display names. There's also mention of a Discord Quest, a rewarded-ad format that lets users earn rewards by playing games and engaging with other content.

This campaign, codenamed Hexagon, is set to end on December 8. However, Nitro users will have access to it until February 15, so if you're desperate to style your Discord profile around GTA 6, you might want to consider subscribing.

The timing is a little ironic, considering that Discord's mascot was recently torn to shreds, quite literally, by frustrated users following the global rollout of its age-verification system. The more obvious irony here is that Discord is primarily a PC platform, while GTA 6 is launching as a console exclusive, at least for now. For a game that hardly needs any help attracting attention, Rockstar is determined to make GTA 6's launch week impossible to ignore.

Everything uncovered so far makes the Discord campaign seem pretty convincing, but Discord and Rockstar still haven't said anything official about Hexagon. You can check out the original thread from Wumpus Central here.
