The BeyondCreative team showcased a couple of gorgeous demos showcasing the capabilities of Epic Games' Unreal Editor for Fortnite.
BeyondCreative, an award-winning game studio that specializes primarily in developing games and experiences in Fortnite Creative, has recently shared two amazing demos showcasing an incredible recreation of Grand Theft Auto's Grove Street and a stunning new experience the team built using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), Epic Games' newly-unveiled editor that brings Unreal Engine 5's tools to Fortnite.
According to the studio, they were among the chosen ones who had access to UEFN prior to its release, which allowed them to test out and experiment with the editor and learn more about its capabilities. As part of their experiments, BeyondCreative's 3D Artist Daniel Peta recreated one of GTA's most iconic locations, turning Grove Street into a Fortnite map:
Additionally, the artist shared a look at a Blender-made BMX model that was imported into Fortnite using one of the editor's tools, which enables developers to quickly and easily import models made in external applications:
BeyondCreative's 3D Environment Artist Paulo Corona, on the other hand, prepared something entirely new, utilizing UEFN and Quixel assets to set up a marvelous Fortnite experience with God of War vibes, featuring massive landscapes, a fire-engulfed playable character, and even dragons:
"This is just the beginning, and we're excited to unveil more of what we've been working on in the upcoming months," commented BeyondCreative.
