Have a Look at This Majestic 3D Character Animation Inspired by Arcane, Overwatch & Marvel Rivals

3D Character Artist Mehdi Bounedjar has unveiled Candice, the Scarlet Wizard, an absolutely breathtaking 3D character model and animation inspired by Arcane, Overwatch, and Marvel Rivals, and created as a student project for the Artside school.

Inspired by one of Wu Shenyou's illustrations, this stylized beauty was created using Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, 3DCoat, Marmoset Toolbag, and Unreal Engine, and enhanced with 2D effects authored by Kevin "Rineartt" Hoang.

"This project was challenging, especially the hand-painting and integration into Unreal Engine, but that's also what made it so rewarding," Mehdi comments. "I aimed to capture the series' atmosphere in a real-time engine while adding my own personal touch."
